About Heliox OS
Heliox OS is an open-source desktop agent for Windows, macOS and Linux. You type or speak a request, and Heliox turns it into a validated plan, routes each action to a specialist provider (apps, files, browser, system), asks before risky or irreversible work and reports completion only after verifying it. It also takes opt-in gestures and exposes its actions to MCP hosts. With an officially signed-in Codex or Claude Code CLI, Heliox can use your existing AI subscription to produce plans, without importing your login; execution and approvals stay with Heliox.
Can you use your ChatGPT plan in Heliox OS?
Yes. Your ChatGPT plan, through the signed-in Codex CLI, for planning. Heliox OS's own page says: "Codex and Claude subscription model access"
How to connect your plan
Claude Pro or Max
- Install the official Claude Code CLI and sign in with Anthropic.
- Choose Existing AI subscription in Heliox Settings or first-run setup.
- Select an available model or leave the provider default, then submit a task.
ChatGPT Plus or Pro
- Install the official Codex CLI and sign in with OpenAI.
- Choose Existing AI subscription in Heliox Settings or first-run setup.
- Select an available model or leave the provider default, then submit a task.
