About Ouroboros
Ouroboros is an open-source, general-purpose AI agent whose identity, memory and history continue across tasks and restarts. It works on external projects, coordinates a live swarm of specialist agents, and can rewrite its own code, prompts and tools. It runs as a desktop app or headless CLI with everything kept on your machine. A connected Codex account can be its main model, and your Codex, Claude Code or Cursor subscriptions run delegated coding and review.
