About Open CoDesign

Open CoDesign is an MIT-licensed, local-first desktop design tool: describe a prototype, slide deck or marketing asset and it builds it with agentic sessions, your DESIGN.md design system and editable exports to HTML, PDF, PPTX and Markdown. Sign in with ChatGPT to use Codex models without pasting an API key, or bring a key for another provider.

Can you use your ChatGPT plan in Open CoDesign?

Yes. ChatGPT Plus or Pro, via your ChatGPT sign-in. Open CoDesign's own page says: "ChatGPT subscription — sign in with ChatGPT to use Codex models without pasting an API key."
