About MkAgent
MkAgent is an open-source, local-first agent workspace built on Pi, for anyone who wants more control over their AI work. Run durable sessions from the desktop app, WebUI or CLI, build plans, use Skills, browse the web and work with attachments, with sessions and files kept on your machine. It connects the models you already use, including ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro/Max subscriptions, as well as API keys and local Ollama models.
Can you use your ChatGPT plan in MkAgent?
Yes. Your ChatGPT Plus subscription, through MkAgent's ChatGPT sign-in (OAuth). MkAgent's own page says: "MkAgent supports ChatGPT Plus and Claude Pro/Max subscriptions, provider API keys, OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible endpoints, and local Ollama models through its Pi backend."
How to connect your plan
Claude Pro or Max
- Install MkAgent (desktop, WebUI or CLI).
- In Settings, add a Claude Pro/Max connection and complete the Claude sign-in (OAuth).
ChatGPT Plus or Pro
- Install MkAgent (desktop, WebUI or CLI).
- In Settings, add a ChatGPT Plus connection and complete the ChatGPT sign-in (OAuth).
