About Jarhead

Jarhead is a voice-first Mac assistant. Say its wake word, pass Touch ID and talk: a live voice model listens and speaks at the same time, a brain plans the work, and a Swift helper does it on the real Mac, in parallel threads, with every step written to an append-only ledger. It runs alarms and automations while it sleeps, sits in the notch as a control surface and opens a console into your coding-agent sessions. The brain is Codex, which runs on your ChatGPT plan, or a local model; the voice is billed per minute of open session.

Can you use your ChatGPT plan in Jarhead?

Yes. Your ChatGPT plan, through Codex (codex login or the ChatGPT app), as Jarhead's brain. The voice is billed separately per minute. Jarhead's own page says: "Codex runs on your ChatGPT plan."

How to connect your plan
