About HeliosGen

HeliosGen is a self-hosted generative AI desktop app, pitched as a free alternative to Higgsfield, OpenArt and Freepik: image and video generation from one local interface, with no subscription lock-in to the app itself. Instead of routing GPT Image 2 through paid credits, it can generate through your own ChatGPT Codex subscription via codex-imagegen-cli.

Can you use your ChatGPT plan in HeliosGen?

Yes. Your ChatGPT Codex subscription, for GPT Image generation. HeliosGen's own page says: "HeliosGen can generate through your own ChatGPT Codex subscription via codex-imagegen-cli."
