About CFD Scientist

CFD Scientist runs a computational fluid dynamics study end to end: literature search, hypotheses, case requirements, a mandatory mesh-independence gate, OpenFOAM runs through Foam-Agent, an interpreter that checks results with figures, cross-case analysis and a LaTeX paper draft with a reviewer loop. Run it as an interactive CLI, a checkpointed orchestrator or a set of skills. It can bill to a subscription instead of an API key: it reuses the login of the Claude Code or Codex CLI, so a Claude Pro/Max or ChatGPT Plus/Pro subscription drives the whole pipeline.

Set CFD_SCIENTIST_LLM_PROVIDER=claude-code and a Claude model, then start the study.

Run codex login once to sign in to Codex.
Set CFD_SCIENTIST_LLM_PROVIDER=openai-codex and a Codex model, then start the study.
