About Tidebreak

Tidebreak is an open-source, local-first desktop built in Rust for AI coding agents and document work: run Claude Code, Codex CLI, opencode and Grok side by side, each in its own Git worktree, plus a research engine for serious document work proven on private equity diligence. In Settings, Providers, you sign in with ChatGPT Plus or Pro, add a provider key, or use Ollama.

Can you use your ChatGPT plan in Tidebreak?

Yes. Your ChatGPT Plus or Pro subscription; Tidebreak does not use Claude subscription sign-in. Tidebreak's own page says: "In Settings → Providers, sign in with ChatGPT Plus or Pro"
