Heptabase is a visual knowledge base for learning and research: cards, whiteboards, journals, PDF highlights and tag databases, with an AI agent that can search, read and edit your notes. In AI chat you can choose whether a message uses your ChatGPT plan, your own API key or Heptabase AI credits, and Sign in with Codex lets you keep using supported models in the AI Agent after your Heptabase credits run out.

Can you use your ChatGPT plan in Heptabase?

Yes. Your ChatGPT plan, for AI chat and the AI Agent (Sign in with Codex). Heptabase's own page says: "The AI chat composer now shows whether your next message will use your ChatGPT plan, your own API key, or Heptabase AI credits, and lets you change it directly."
